STRAWBERRY JELLO MARSHMALLOW CAKE IN A JAR

It sounds damn good right especially when the name is so long!
I really love this recipe and I'm going to share with y'all how to make it for your love ones (:
Recipe is easy and ingredients are quite accessible but this requires a lot of time to make but most of the time are just chilling so it's good to make it one day before

Recipe adapted from Baking Mum but I have made some alteration to the recipe and instead of making it using tin, I made it in jars, easier to store and bring for friends to eat.

Ingredients:
(A) Base
200g of Digestive Biscuits
100g of Melted Butter

(B) Marshmallow Layer
200g of Marshmallow
300ml of Skimmed Milk
(You can choose any kind of milk you like)
200ml of Whipping Cream
2 teaspoon of Gelatin

(C) Jello Topping
1 packet of Strawberry Jello
150ml of hot water
150ml of cold water

Directions:
1.  Crush Digestive Biscuits into fine crumbs, and add Melted Butter in and mixed it well

2. Press the mixed Ingredients (A) into jars and leave it to chill inside the fridge for 20-30 minutes or so to harden the base.

3. In the mean while, heat up Marshmallow, Skimmed Milk & Whipping Cream inside a pot. Just small fire and constant stirring to prevent it from burning
*Do not use big fire because it will burnt the marshmallows*

4. Add in Melted Gelatin
*Tip: Add two teaspoon of water to Gelatin and stir before adding boiling water to melt it, this will prevent Gelatin from lumping up*
Stir well and leave it to cool.

5. Take out the jars from the fridge and add the Marshmallow layer.
*Tip: Since it's bubbly and I didn't like it so I used sieve to remove the most of the bubbles*
Leave it to chill for half hour.

6. (Optional)
Cut Strawberry and top them over the Marshmallow layer.
Press the Strawberry down a little but not too much because you won't want to spoil the layer.
Chill it for four hours or freeze it for two hours if you are in a hurry
I normally let it chill overnight though.

7. Pour out the Jello powder and add hot water to it before adding cold water.
Stir it well and let it cool for a little bit
*Tip: I normally put inside the freezer for like a couple of minute to quicken the cooling process*

8. Pour the Jello Topping in
Pour it slowly in case the Strawberry might float because of the pressure or whatsoever because it did happened when I pour too quickly.
Chill it for at least two hours, or until you find the jello hardens

9. Serve it chilled (:

It sounded easy right! Just a little bit more effort and I'm really glad how my friends loved this creation.
Like Michelle, Jasmine and Eileen who have tried said that I can sell this online ~
*FLOAT*
It's your turn to try it out and let your loves one taste it !

xoxo (:

[RECIPE] HAPPY TOGETHER 3 - BANANA BISCUIT CAKE

Remembered that in OsteoMilk Post I said I will be updating recipe, and now I'm back to demonstrate how to make Banana Biscuit Cake with OsteoMilk.
All you need is 3 ingredients to give you the perfect breakfast(dessert) depending on when you're having it.

It's actually adapted from Happy Together 3 Episode 282, where their guests are Girls' Generation, Kim Wansun, Baek Jiyoung. I personally found it really interesting how she actually made a cake with only minimal ingredient, in fact it didn't take as long as three hours like stated in the show, just that you need to leave it in the fridge for hours to let the cake absorb the moisture. However, I'm only doing the Banana Cake without Whipped Cream, it's more for breakfast or light dessert.

Banana Biscuit Cake
Ingredients: Each Banana Biscuit Cake
Marie Biscuit/Digestive Biscuits (3)
Banana (2/3)
OsteoMilk (1)
(1 Satchel of OsteoMilk can be used for more than 5-6 Banana Cakes)
Whipped Cream (Optional)

Step 1: Prepare a bowl of lukewarm water (150ml) and dissolve the satchel of OsteoMilk.
Step 2: Once OsteoMilk completely dissolved, dip Marie Biscuits in it for approximately 30 seconds.
Step 3: Transfer soaked Marie Biscuits into plate
and layered it with sliced banana.
Step 4: Repeat Step 3 for one more time, forming second layer
(You can form three or four layers, it's fine as long as it doesn't toppled)
Step 5: Cover it with another soaked Marie Biscuit
(Do no layer with banana this time)
Step 6: Scoop two spoon of the remaining OsteoMilk over each Banana Biscuit Cake
(It's okay if you see it dripped all over the plate, it will all be soaked into the Marie Biscuit after chilling)
Step 7: Chill it for approximately 1.5 hours
(I normally chill it overnight)
Step 8: Serve while chilled

Oh and people might ask why do I want to use OsteoMilk. It's because OsteoMilk keeps you pretty inside out because of its collagen where normal milk doesn't provide and it's less fattening too :P
I didn't add whipped cream(fattening) and it's much easier this way. However if you intend to make it as Birthday cake  then go ahead. Just follow the instructions and layered the top and sides with whipped cream.
You can watch the full video HERE, it's Episode 282 Part 5

It's really simple how it's done and it's unbelievable how it tasted like cake because it has absorbed all the milk during chilling and banana rocks! You can actually make more because there will still be quite a bit of OsteoMilk leftover(I drank it) It doesn't really matter as long as you got enough Marie Biscuits and Banana
I'll be experimenting how it works with both banana and strawberry, seems cool too.
If you're interested in trying out OsteoMilk, you can read up my previous post HERE, where you can redeem a free sample pack of OsteoMilk and OsteoSoy.

Stay Tune - I'll be updating another recipe using OsteoSoy this time!

[Baking] Molten Chocolate Lava Cake

It's me and ❤'s 4th Monthsary and I decided to bake again since I've cancelled my job on Sat.
This time I decided to try making lava cake because it's my favourite! I saw recipe of lava cake on Openrice Singapore website and I triggered my interest and began to research on the best and easiest recipe.
Ever wonder how lava cakes are made? How the chocolate ooze out from the inner while the outer is like a perfect chocolate cake? Well, maybe after reading further your questions would be answered.
MOLTEN LAVA CAKE RECIPE - Adapted from HERE
Preparation Time: 15min
Baking Time: 30min
Total Time: 45min

Ingredient (A): (Melt)
Baking Chocolate - 100g (I used Van Houten's Baking Choco)
Unsalted Butter - 100g (UNSALTED AH, DON'T GEK KIANG USE SALTED ONE)

Ingredient (B): (Mix)
Eggs - 2
Caster Sugar - 50g

Ingredient (C):
Self-raising Flour - 20g

Optional: Deco
Icing Sugar
Strawberry
Ice-cream

This Serves Up to 4Pax.

Step 1: Melt the Chocolate and Butter
Melt it in a bowl using microwave, double boiler, water bath but do not try to melt it over heat because it'll get burnt easily, and it's going to waste money and your time cleaning up.
I melted mine using microwave for around 10minutes or so.
Step 2: Whisk up Ingredient (B)
In the meanwhile, use an electric whisk, or by hand to beat the Eggs and Sugar till the mixture turns pale and frothy. Sadly I've no electric whisk so I've to beat it manually and I looks like this, not bad right.
Step 3: Mix Ingredient (A) + (B) + (C)
Mix your melted Butter & Chocolate, whisked Egg and Sugar, together with Flour. Mix it well till it become thick liquid.
Step 4: Grease your Ramekins w Butter
Grease it well with butter to prevent sticking

Step 5: Fill The Ramekins 3/4 Full & Bake It
It will raise a little when baked as there is self raising flour in it, therefore don't fill it to the brim.
Baked it in a preheated oven of 180C (356F) for about 10 minutes.

Step 6: Decorate it ~
Sprinkle some sugar, deco with some strawberry or even top up your favourite ice-cream and TADAH, this wonderful little creation is done!
Something to take note of:
Do not over-bake it if you want to see chocolate oozing out from the inner, try to keep it at 10minutes. If not it will turn out to be a super moist chocolate cake instead of lava cake. But either way both tasted nice! I tried two batch, one turned out to be great while another over-baked and the inner turns out to be moist without oozing chocolates ): So be real careful.

For more inquiries, feel free to ask me about it through my email or comment box!
I would be more than willing to answer your questions regarding baking.
If y'all got any awesome recipe, do share with me too!
xoxo (:

Antioxidant Fruit Salad

Antioxidant Fruit Salad  Making Session (:
I learn to make this during my Blackmores workshop last month, and finally decided to try it out.
It's easy, healthy & pretty to make and eat~
 INGREDIENTS NEEDED: (Serves 4-6 Pax)
1 Full Mango/ 3 Slices of Mango (DICED)
1 Pack/Box of Blueberry
1 Pack of Strawberry (DICED)
1 Bag of  Red/White Grapes Appx. 300g (HALVED)
2 Teaspoon of Lemon Juice
3-4 Teaspoon of Honey

Step 1: Cut up the fruits to bite-size so it's easier to eat.
Step 2: Throw them all into mixing bowl
Step 3: Add in lemon juice & honey, stir it well but not too rough
Step 4: Chill it in the fridge for roughly an hour
Step 5: Serve it cold (:

Fruits that you can add as well would include:
 Peach
Blackcurrant
Black Berry
Pomegranate
You can actually mix and match the fruits, it's just that the four fruits listed happen to be my favourite fruits. Just add in fruits that you like, you can alter to your own taste.
Try it out and let me know how it goes (:
HAVE FUN!
