House, Vintage Tea Party

Went to Dempsey for a vintage tea party! Qiuyi suggested it and we met up on Friday and Mabel specially got off to meet us including Patrica. Pictures!

My top favourite would be the little desserts in the cup, all 3 of them tasted superbly nice! Especially the one that look like egg shell, it tasted like custard with a little sugar casing over it, absolutely awesome. Next would be the banana swiss roll that I took like more than 8? I regret not taking more though. And it's funny that vintage tea party has curry chicken but still it's nice with the tasty tender chickens. Their mushroom and skinny pizza wasn't bad however mushroom slightly salty. Would be much better if their variety get even more, because there is only like 2 tables of variety of cupcakes and 1 table for breads, but their food was really great, would totally bring friends to come again for some taitai's session! however this time, I'm just gonna grab all my favourite food because there is only like 2.5 hours for the buffet!

Etude House Bubble Hair Color

Tried the Etude House Bubble Hair Color(EHBHC) Natural Brown which is similar to my current hair color, I think pictures look like it's the same but actually I just wanted to cover the black roots first.

EHBHC uses dispenser instead of squeezing bottle, so it's easier for us to dispense foam with glove on and won't make it so messy and the smell is not as strong compared to Liese's one. I totally love the purple sachet of silky perfumed treatment, it made my hair smooth and smell nice for hours. I Google for it but it's out of stock else where.I left it for an hour because I was too engrossed in T.V and folding joss paper, when I wash it off, my hair felt as though I had applied hair gel on. It was so hard to wash away, and even after 3 washes, my hair remain rock hard and hard to comb ): Thankgod, problem solved after applying treatment. I think it's really cheap deal compared to Liese since sometimes it could be as cheap as $8.90, however, it made my hair dry.

 My hair used to be quite dry, but it normally cured after rebonding at my fav. salon but this time it doesn't and I believe is due to EHBHC. Since then my hair constantly need conditioner and serum if not right, it will be tangled and damn hard to comb. It feels like wild grass now ):

Ahloythai & Many More!

Ahloythai with niece for dinner! YAY! #happygirl This is my 7th time to Ahloythai I suppose and more stuffs has been added to the menu and prices went up (* _ *) It's like almost every time I went there, they increase bit by bit. Oh well, the food remains up to my expectation, so I shall deal with it.

Arrived there at 6:15pm, and there is a queue outside and waited for 10min before getting a table; and that's only because there is only two of us dining.

Food ordered:

Phat Thai $5.90

Pineapple Fried Rice $5.90

Tom Yam Prawn Soup $7.90 + $0.60(rice)

Thai Milk Red Tea x2 $2 each

I'm just disappointed that they do not allow special orders(can't order Phat Thai w/out beansprout) during peak hour. I had to spend 10min trying to make sure all the beansprout was taken out before eating.

Aftermath we went to Ah Chew's Dessert for some MANGO SAGO ♥ I'm a fan of their Mango Sago, never failed to eat it whenever I'm near there!

After all my sinful eating, I've got some delivery to make; to deliver bubble tea to cousin's house. They requested for HappyLemon, I've no idea this shop existed till today, but it doesn't seems so bad, and they have very unique bubble tea selections. I went to their website and found that their top few selections are: Cocoa with Rock Salt and Cheese, Milk Tea with Oreo Cookies & Cream and Oreo Cookies & Cream Coffee. I shall try the Rock Salt & Cheese one when I happened to be around Bugis.

Post-Valentine

Spend my actual valentine's day working in the morning, schooling in the afternoon and dinner with Joyce in the evening. got kinda envy seeing girls holding flowers & balloons with their boyfriends having dinner. It happened to me once only ): never celebrated valentine's since 4 years ago. #foreveralone

Finished 步步惊心 already! Ending was sad and I cried till my eyes got swollen and couldn't wear contact lens the next day. But I liked how the story followed the history because it's more realistic this way.

四爷 & 八爷 ♥

Ate Astons + Watch Underworld: Awakening with Yinle today at PlazaSing. It has been like 1234567days since we last met(should be only 2 months) Lucky we went earlier to Astons so we manage to get seats quite fast, food was alright, but had no idea why there are always big crowd, it's not like really yummy yummy. I had not watched Underworld 1,2 & 3 but i went to watch 4. Comment for this movie is gore, gore and still gore. Movie was fast-paced but full of gore scenes. P.S: Not for weak hearts.

MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!

Had a few advance as well as belated mini celebrations and gift exchange with different group of friends because I'm working my ass off on Christmas eve and Christmas itself.

Celebration #1 (21st December)

Met up with Patricia, Qiuyi, Mabel and Donald for movie. We watched Already Famous, 一泡而红 by 庄米雪 & 小鬼. 小鬼 is soooooooooooooo cute! Guess because his role is to act dumb but still so cute /melts. After movie ended we exchanged the gift outside the cinema; we already draw lots while watching the movie. Everyone's like so uber excited about the gifts we gonna get! I've gotten Mabel's present which is an eye massager. Definitely will be needing it because I been working so hard that I think I need it to relief some tension and stress off me!

Celebration #2 (22nd December)

This time it's celebrating with Iris♥ and Cherie♥! Due to all the stupid MRT issues, we decided to meet somewhere nearer, hence we decided to go Lot1 because even if MRT breakdown, bus spoil or taxi being expensive, we can simply walk home from there. Meet Iris♥ earlier to get presents before Cherie♥ reached, both of us been so busy that we have no time to get the presents before hand. We went to eat PEPPERLUNCHEXPRESS♥. I have no idea why but I totally love Salmon Pepper Rice that I can eat it everyday. Anyway, because there is only 3 of us, it's damn hard to draw lots, so we drew like 123456789x before we managed to exchange our presents! I gave both of them Lil'Ginger as well!

Celebration #3 (28th December)

I would not really called this a celebration, perhaps a quick catch-up with Joyce. We didn't meet one another since our holiday started. We've been planning this for a month and finally I'm gonna ice skate for the first time in my life! Excited to the max but I think it's more nervous than excitement. We went Kallang leisure park since that's the only place to skate after Jurong Entertainment Centre close down. Much to our disappointment, it's small and packed with lotz of people. The joke is both of us can't skate well, can't blame me because it's my first time whereas for Joyce it's like her 2nd time skating so we cannot afford to let ourselves fall down because we can't stand on our own and we can't save each other, so what we do is we literally grab the corner of the rink and skate throughout the 2 hours(LOL) but when we're almost done, we made new friends because we keep passing by them. One of them which is good at skating brought me to skate one round. It was so fun! I was skating so fast and absorbing the stuffs he taught me about skating. Whenever I was gonna fall I grab his arm firmly and at the end of the round his arm is bruise.

I just want to say SO SORRY TO WHOEVER YOU ARE & THANK YOU BECAUSE YOU LET ME ENJOY THE SHIOKNESS OF SKATING DAMN FAST. #likeaboss

                                                                                        

Celebration #4 (29th December)

Met with my 老婆s; xuan & Sheena for dinner but it's not really celebration because it's like 4 days after Christmas already but it's been 1 month plus since we last met. Ate at Wild Honey, ordered the English set. The English set was nice, but not a bacon/sausage person so I only ate half of the portion and the mushroom & potatoes is really super awesome! I would gladly trade my bacon & sausage for more mushroom and potatoes. Total cost like $25 each but it's quite filling for me, next time would share with someone and order mushroom as side dish. After eating, we went H&M and shop around but after awhile they are going to close so we headed home. Before we part, xuan gave us our presents that she gotten for us in 上海 and I gave them Lil'Ginger too!
P.S: Cut my hair before meeting them so my hair looks like crap -.-
